National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) Recruitment 2014: National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee (Uttarakhand) India has invited applications from eligible Indian for filling the various post of ‘Stenographer & Lower Division Clerk’.

National Institute of Hydrology (NIH) is a Government of India society under Ministry of Water Resources and has been functioning as a research institute in the area of Hydrology and Water resources in the country.

Scale of Pay: 

  • Stenographer: Rs. 5,200 –  Rs. 20,200 + Grade pay 2400/-
  • Lower Division Clerk: Rs. 5,200 –  Rs. 20,200 + Grade pay 1900/-

Number of Posts: 08 posts

Educational Qualification:

  • Stenographer: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized University and typing speed 80 w.p.m. on computer.
  • Lower Division Clerk: 12th pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University and typing speed 35 w.p.m. in English and typing speed 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.

Age Limit:  18 – 27 years.

Selection Procedure: Candidates would be selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test/Skill Test/Interview.
