Reliance Communications: Anil Ambani owned Reliance Communications (RCom) has introduced ‘Free Facebook Fridays’ offer for its pre-paid GSM subscribers. The offer allows Reliance customers to access the social networking site Facebook without data charges or deductions from their preferred data pack.

Bhutan: Bhutan became the 181st member of Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA). MIGA is the political risk insurance and credit enhancement agency of the World Bank Group.

Randhir Singh: Randhir Singh was appointed as an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). He was appointed as the honorary member during the IOC session in Monaco held from 8 December 2014 to 9 December 2014.

India: India’s economic growth is expected to improve to 6.3 per cent in the next two years according to United Nations report.
