Cognizant: IT Company Cognizant has acquired digital marketing company Cadient Group that serves a broad spectrum of life science companies, for an estimated $30 million. Cadient Group is a Pennsylvania based company.

Noble Prize 2014, Physics: Japanese scientist Isamu Akasaki and Hiroshi Amano and US scientist Shuji Nakamura won the Noble Prize in physics for the invention of blue light-emitting diodes, a breakthrough that spurred the development of LED technology used to light up computer screens and modern smart phones.
