Anil Kumar Sinha: Anil Kumar Sinha has been appointed as a new chief of Central Bureau Investigation (CBI). He replaced Ranjit Sinha.

Global Corruption Index 2014: India has been placed at 85th position in Global Corruption Index 2014 among 175 countries. Denmark has retained its position as the least corrupt country in 2014 with a score 92 while North Korea and Somalia shared the last place.
