IBPS PO CWE 2014 Exam Analysis – Evening Session 11.10.2014

After Analysis of Morning Session Exam and questions of morning and evening session. We are now providing detailed analysis of IBPS PO CWE 2014 of 11.10.2014 (evening session).

The analysis is based on the feed backs received from the students who have appeared in this exam. 

Actually the evening paper was just the replica of the morning paper and there was not much difference as far as the level of questions are concerned. If you have seen the analysis of the morning exam you will find the analysis of the evening exam is more or less similar, however you should still see it as it will surely help you to understand the nature of this exam.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducted Online Examination, for the recruitment of Probationary Officer, across the country on October 11, 2014.

About the Exam Structure of IBPS PO CWE 2014: There were 200 questions in the paper viz. Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Computer Knowledge.

Each question had 5 options. There was negative marking of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question for all the sections.

Analysis of Reasoning Paper of IBPS PO CWE 2014 (evening shift)

The difficulty level of the reasoning paper was quite good. Level of some of the questions were somewhat similar to SBI PO and SBI Associates PO of previous years. There were a few simple questions in logical reasoning too. There were some interesting questions such as Question on Square puzzle in which 4 are sitting on corner and 4 are sitting in between, puzzle on floors etc.

Analysis of Quantitative Aptitude Paper of IBPS PO CWE 2014 (evening shift)

The difficulty level of the QA questions was slightly high but not very high. However the level of D.I. questions was quite high as compare to earlier PO Exams. In fact standard of D.I. questions was as good as that of SBI PO.

English Language

Analysis of English Language Paper of IBPS PO CWE 2014 (evening shift)

The difficulty level of the English Language questions was moderate and some questions were quite easy also.

Computer Knowledge

The computer awareness paper was of mix nature, while some questions were quite simple, there were some questions which require deep knowledge. The main areas from which questions were asked are: Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Networking, Basic Hardware and Software, DBMS etc.

General Awareness

Most of the questions were on current affairs and banking awareness and there were a few questions on conventional GK also. Overall this paper was also of moderate difficulty level.
